My Dad had a green Johnson 25 on a 14' Norseman, a plywood runabout.

A guy down the beach had a similar boat with an 18hp Evinrude. I had electric start, and we were all in awe of it.

I was amazing what those little boats would do. Pull skiers, give lots of thrilling rides and make me plead to be allowed to drive. I was nine. His rule was when you can start it, you can drive. Never was able to get the thing to even turn over.

That lyman you have with that big motor was beyond anyone's means at the time.

    Hi Al

I was in Iowa at lock and dam 14 in February at the same time as you and I have to say your eagle pictures are amazing. I'm very jealous and also very impressed. Great job! Every photo is better than the last and they all take my breath away.

Al, your website is awesome. I don't have the time right now to go through all of your galleries but what I have seen I am very impressed. Naturally I had to check out your eagle shoots...and I l love them! The ones where the eagle is on the ice on the river I really love.. Also getting a shot with an eagle bringing a squirrel up to the nest is a rare one. I also looked at your wedding shots and it gives me ideas.. nice job. Your sports and portraits are great. When I have more time I will go through your whole site.. Take care.. Dena

How's it going? I work as a production techie for Firelands College on a full time basis. David Gilmore and Davie both said that you offer photos of the sets and crew to the personnel. I don't have a single photo of any of the work I've done and I was wondering if you could help a poor college student out, lol... For the Firelands Theatre the ones in question would be #2 of the Melody Lingers On, and #1 of The Spoon River Anthology. For Caryl Cranes Children Theatre it would be #2 & #3 of "Cinderella's Glass Slipper", and #5 of "Hood". Yhanks so much man. I tried email but the link wasnt working from the college computers.

My address is 622 Cleveland Road East, Apt. E, Huron, OH, 44839

Al, words escape me. These are some of the finest bird photos I've ever seen. On a par with or better than most published photos.

Al, I enjoyed meeting you and Troy. You are welcome to my yard to photograph the owl and her babies. You have captured some great photos of the immature baby. I only wish you could have seen one of the parents. I also enjoyed the many birds you have photographed. You have a wonderful gift. I hope the owls come back, so you can photo them again.
